
GZA’s Manhattan, New York office is seeking a Mid-Level Geotechnical Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to join our transportation, building, energy, and infrastructure practice. This position will be based in the Manhattan, NY office and involves local and regional travel.
The successful candidate will support projects through proposal, contract, and execution phases, with responsibility for the day-to-day technical delivery of work. Strong academic credentials, geotechnical engineering expertise, analytical ability, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset are essential.
Our geotechnical projects involve buildings, bridges, highways, railroads, tunnels and marine and waterfront developments, water resources and dams, geo-structural analysis, soil and rock slope stabilization, automated instrumentation programs, resource evaluations, shallow and deep foundation design, earth retention design and ground improvement programs. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of and documented experience in a representative portion of these practice areas.

The base salary for this position may range between $100,000.00-125,000.00. The actual base salary and total compensation will depend on many factors, including location, candidate experience, education, professional licensure, and other qualifications.
