We are seeking an experienced Geologist with a strong background in Iron Ore or Manganese mining to join our team in Gabon. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in exploration, sampling, and mine geology, with the ability to support operational and development projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct geological mapping, sampling, and interpretation for Iron Ore or Manganese deposits.
Oversee exploration activities including drilling, logging, and core sampling.
Manage and update geological models and resource estimations.
Ensure accurate geological data collection and reporting.
Collaborate with mine planning and operations teams to optimize ore extraction.
Monitor grade control and assist in short- and long-term mine planning.
Adhere to all safety and environmental protocols.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in Iron Ore or Manganese mining projects.
Strong knowledge of mineral exploration techniques and mining operations.
Familiarity with geological software and data interpretation.
Willingness to relocate and work in Gabon.
