
LMI is seeking a skilled Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Database Developer to support our DHS customer.

Work independently to develop GIS tools and applications, perform complex analyses, and develop multi- layered maps accomplished by using an appropriate combination of tools found in the GIS application suite and other programming environments.
Design and implement data conversion procedures and perform software and database quality control.
Work closely with the GIS user community to determine specific application requirements and specifications.
Perform project planning, requirements analysis, database design and development, and quality assurance and quality control.
Support SharePoint development and geospatial integration between Microsoft Power Apps and geospatial system and software.
Eight (8) years of experience performing GIS and related development for law enforcement, immigration, and/or border security applications.
Experience in GIS concepts, computer graphics fundamentals, and relational database fundamentals and concepts is essential.
Must have experience in the development of complex analysis and mapping projects.
Must be proficient in the coding of software and manipulating digital databases as well as using GIS programming languages, Internet markup languages, and other, pertinent technologies.
Must have the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical computer users, both orally and in writing.
Desired to have experience with supporting software including SharePoint and Microsoft PowerApps.
Education: BS/BA in GIS, Geography, Cartography, Computer Science or other related field w/GIS experience.
Clearance Must be able to obtain a DHS Background Investigation
