Geocgi is seeking a GeoBase Administrator to support geospatial operations for the United States Air Force Pacific Command (PACAF) at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. This role focuses on managing and enhancing geospatial capabilities that support day-to-day base operations and mission needs. You’ll work closely with Air Force stakeholders to develop GIS solutions, maintain mapping systems, and deliver products that directly support real-world operations.

This position is an onsite opportunity with the location of performance at Osan United States Airforce Base in the Republic of Korea.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain ArcGIS Desktop/ArcPro and Enterprise environments.
• Develop maps, dashboards, and geospatial products supporting base operations and special events.
• Manage and update GIS data and web mapping services.
• Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored GIS solutions.
• Configure and support web mapping applications.
• Collaborate with Air Force personnel to enhance and sustain GIS capabilities.
• Ensure GIS data is accurate, accessible, and aligned with operational needs.
• Provide training and support to GIS users.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of GIS workflows and processes.

The following are requirements of the GeoBase Administrator:

• U.S. Citizen, active U.S. Passport, and active US DoD Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with Esri ArcGIS Desktop and Server/Enterprise administration.
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Experience with enterprise GIS data development and management.
• Experience integrating GIS into operational workflows and systems.
• Familiarity with web mapping technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS).
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements and providing technical training and user support.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

The following are preferred of the GeoBase Administrator:

• Knowledge of SDSFIE data standards.
• Experience with USAF GeoBase Program
• Experience with AutoCAD Map 3D or Trimble GPS.
• Basic scripting experience (Python, JavaScript).
