The IT Administrator for SYSTEM21 is responsible for the Architecture, Configuration, Performance, Security, Availability and Lifecycles of the System21 Application.
System21 Application Architecture:
- Defines and create technical standards and guidelines
- Execute projects to improve the application
- Establishes and maintain technical architecture blueprints
- Evaluates existing services delivery and makes recommendations for improvements
System 21 Application Configuration:
- Maintain Configuration through the change management processes
- Ensure configurations are documented and stored in central repository
- Ensure new changes to applications are analyzed in terms of its effects on existing application configurations
System21 Application Performance:
- Regular Maintenance of applications to ensure quality of service
- Supervise and Develop tools required for operations
- Maintain data size and regular purging of the data to achieve application optimum performance
- Regular review of schedule jobs and remove redundant jobs
System21 Application Security and Audits:
- Maintain and monitor application and data security
- Work closely with relevant parties to ensure that the solutions meet Sandvik security standards
- Provides inputs into the new solution designs and development process related to security
- Monitor security technology trends and requirements, such as emerging standards in security
- Adjust security processes and practices to meet the day-to-day requirements of the business
- Ensure that security standards are followed in new solution designs and new setups
System21 Application Availability:
- Liaison with partners to ensure all required business data are being saved as per SLA
- Regularly review BRMS SLA and ensure it covers business and legal requirements
- Develop process and procedure to restore data to production environments
System21 Application Lifecycle:
- Coordinate and supervise PTF installations, configurations, change management and capacity planning
- Review of new application technologies and improvements of methodologies
- Assess competing solution(s) to take advantage of best practices
- Contribute and participate in all Lifecycle management activities related to Hardware and Software
System21 Application Technical Documentation:
- Document Security Standards
- Document application alerts and escalation procedures
- Document and maintain operator’s guides
- Document and Monitor KPIs and ensure quality of service
