What You Will Do

• Build and maintain robust, scalable software systems that support tools for discovering and understanding offline commerce.
• Work across the full stack, from backend services and data pipelines to front-end interfaces, adapting to team needs.
• Collaborate closely with teammates, iterating rapidly on feedback while maintaining high code quality standards.
• Contribute to the development of storage solutions, data processing systems, and cloud infrastructure that underpin the product.
• Take ownership of features and systems in a fast-paced startup environment, where your contributions have a direct impact.
• Actively participate in engineering decisions, architecture discussions, and cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally with time spent at startups.
• Strong coding fundamentals with proficiency in one or more languages such as JavaScript, C++, Python, or Rust.
• Solid engineering instincts, with a knack for writing clean, maintainable code while knowing when to prioritize speed or quality.
• Familiarity with storage and data processing systems, cloud infrastructure, and modern engineering tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to give and receive feedback effectively.

Preferred

• Experience at early-stage startups, ex-founders, or roles with significant technical ownership.
• A background in AI-related projects or familiarity with cloud and storage solutions is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $170K to $260K. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates, and you'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, innovative environment.
