Job Description

Cruise Administration Services, Inc. (CASI), a Carnival Cruise Line entity in the Philippines, is currently looking for a HR Generalist. Only candidates located in the Philippines to apply.

Serves as the Human Resources point person for assigned business units by providing day-to-day HR consultation and partnering with managers to implement people initiatives that support business objectives. Provides guidance on employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, organizational changes, and the consistent application of HR policies and Philippine labor laws. Collaborates with the HR Director and other HR functions to ensure effective delivery of HR programs while escalating strategic, sensitive, or high-risk matters as appropriate.

Essential functions:

  • HR Business Partnership - Build strong partnerships with managers to understand operational and people-related priorities and provide day-to-day HR guidance that supports business objectives. Advise managers on routine people matters, facilitate the implementation of HR programs and initiatives, and partner with the HR Director on workforce initiatives, organizational changes, and other strategic people priorities as appropriate.
  • Employee Relations & Performance Management - Partner with managers to effectively manage the employee lifecycle by providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and day-to-day people matters. Conduct workplace investigations, facilitate disciplinary actions, grievance handling, conflict resolution, and employee counseling while ensuring compliance with company policies and Philippine labor laws. Support managers in driving performance through goal setting, performance reviews, coaching discussions, and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), escalating complex or sensitive cases to the HR Director when appropriate.
  • HR Governance & Policy Compliance - Promote the consistent implementation of HR policies, procedures, and employee lifecycle processes across assigned business units. Partner with managers to ensure compliance with company policies, Philippine labor laws, and established HR guidelines. Identify policy or compliance concerns, recommend appropriate actions, and coordinate with the HR Director and relevant HR functions on complex or sensitive matters. Support HR audits by ensuring required documentation is complete and readily available.
  • HR Projects & Continuous Improvement - Participate in HR projects, organizational change initiatives, policy implementation, and process improvement activities that support business objectives and enhance HR service delivery. Collaborate with business leaders and HR stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of HR initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the HR function.
  • Cross-functional HR Collaboration - Partner with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, HR Operations, and other HR stakeholders to support the effective implementation of HR programs and people initiatives. Coordinate across HR functions to ensure a consistent employee experience and seamless delivery of HR services within assigned business units.

Qualifications:

  • With Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Must have 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in HR Generalist, Employee Relations, or HR Operations.

  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations, with working knowledge of Philippine labor laws, HR policies, and HRIS platforms (preferably Oracle HCM).
  • Experience partnering with managers on day-to-day people matters in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
  • Must have schedule flexibility to support business requirements and amenable with hybrid work setup in Pasay City.
