Job Description

Salary: 22.26$ per hour

Night shift bonus: 2$ per hour

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday 11:15pm to 7:15am

RESPONSIBILITY

• Do the Stella Jones Quality training: Reading and interpreting Nesting, drawing, first part inspection procedure, etc.
• Safely operate hoists and other lifting tools in accordance with training provided by a certified trainer.
• Load, unload and move products and materials, tooling and equipment manually or using material handling accessories under the supervision of an operator.
• As required, assist the Court Team Leader and/or the Man of the Court in the day-to-day performance of their duties.
• Enter production information into the computer system.
• Learn the operations of a head-end machine under the supervision of an operator, if the team leader deems the person to be competent.
• Perform secondary operations on different machines or in different departments according to the priorities established under the supervision of an operator.
• Use hand tools such as rotary grinding wheel, drill, punching machine, etc. for the required finishing tasks.
• Follow the first part inspection procedure at all times.
• Ensure that the daily filing form is properly completed.
• Ensure proper maintenance of your work area and maintain the 5S.
• Perform all workspace cleaning tasks.
• Organize work to meet daily objectives.
• Comply at all times with the various procedures and policies put in place by the organization (ISO, OHS, DMS, LEAN).
• Perform any tasks related to or in accordance with his/her abilities at the request of a superior.
