We are looking for a motivated and dependable individuals to join our Production department as a General Worker. Our company is seeking General Workers for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, or 10pm-6am). These individuals will help assist press crews in performing wide variety of manual tasks in the production floor. The General Worker is responsible for the overall performance of the task/ machine to which he/she has been assigned.

Requirements

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble and label cartons according to specifications for each order or form being produced.
• Package finished products into cartons, securely seal them, and stage completed pallets.
• Transport finished pallets from the press delivery area using a manual pallet jack.
• Assist with the setup and operation of delivery and finishing equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company and department standards.
• Monitor machine operation and sortation to ensure proper performance, accurate output, and timely job completion at the required quality level.
• Demonstrate initiative to learn new skills and progress to the next skill level within the department.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Education & Experience Requirements

• Strong basic math skills required
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced production environment

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish (both oral & written is desired)
• Basic knowledge of printing industry a plus

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Full motion/motor skills in all body parts.
• Ability to stand or walk for entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.
