Yale Electric Supply, An affiliate of USESI, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic General Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. This position will be located in our Philadelphia, PA location.

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, verify, and store incoming materials accurately.
• Oversee the receiving and stocking of incoming products and materials from vendor partners.
• Process incoming warehouse deliveries as needed.
• Ensure high levels of accuracy and quality in inventory management, reducing discrepancies.
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas to ensure efficiency and accessibility.
• Maintain records of inventory movement and generate reports to project warehouse status.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements within the warehouse.
• Supervise and mentor two or more warehouse employees, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Determine staffing levels and assign workloads to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Communicate job expectations, set performance goals, and hold employees accountable for results.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to improve employee development.
• Make recommendations regarding hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions for warehouse employees, with final approval from senior leadership.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative warehouse procedures to increase efficiency.
• Oversee the department’s overall process to ensure smooth workflow and proper inventory handling.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies by coordinating with appropriate departments.
• Interface with sales to answer questions and resolve problems related to inventory or warehouse operations.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and operational protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in a manager/supervisor role.
• 2+ years of experience in warehousing required.
• Prior experience in receiving, process improvement, and/or the electrical industry is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain operational accuracy.

Pay Range

$65,000 per year
