Warehouse Associate – Pick & Pack / Shipping & Receiving
Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our distribution team. This position is responsible for accurately picking, packing, receiving, and shipping a variety of products, including clothing, footwear, beauty products, and general merchandise. The ideal candidate will work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders accurately using pick tickets, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems.
- Pack orders securely to ensure products arrive in excellent condition.
- Verify product quantities, sizes, colors, SKUs, and order accuracy before shipment.
- Receive inbound shipments and inspect merchandise for damage or discrepancies.
- Unload, sort, label, and organize inventory into designated warehouse locations.
- Prepare outbound shipments by printing labels, sealing cartons, and staging orders for carrier pickup.
- Process returns, exchanges, and damaged merchandise according to company procedures.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and RF scanners.
- Keep workstations and warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines at all times.
- Meet daily productivity, quality, and attendance expectations.
- Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
- Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Bend, squat, kneel, reach, and twist throughout the workday.
- Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or flexible schedules as business needs require.

Work Environment
This position is performed in a warehouse/distribution center environment where employees may be exposed to varying temperatures, warehouse equipment, moving machinery, and moderate noise levels. Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on assigned tasks.
