Job Overview
Abacus Staffing is currently hiring motivated and dependable General Warehouse Associates & Equipment Operators for a leading distribution facility in Edison, New Jersey. We are seeking individuals who thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment and are committed to safety, quality, and productivity.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to start a warehouse career or expand their experience in logistics, fulfillment, and distribution operations. Immediate openings are available across multiple shifts.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and sort products accurately according to customer orders
- Load and unload trucks and containers
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming merchandise
- Label, scan, and prepare shipments for distribution
- Maintain inventory accuracy using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Perform quality checks on products and shipments
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation to the work site
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be authorized to work in the United States

Available Schedules
1st Shift
Regular 40-Hour Schedule
Monday through Friday
- Team 1: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Team 2: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Extended Schedule (Most Common Schedule)
Monday through Wednesday
- Team 1: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Team 2: 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM
Thursday through Friday
- Team 1: 6:00 AM - 12:30 PM
- Team 2: 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM
2nd Shift
Regular 40-Hour Schedule
- Sunday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Monday through Thursday: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Extended Schedule (Most Common Schedule)
- Sunday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Monday through Wednesday: 2:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Thursday: 3:00 PM - 9:30 PM
B2C Area Schedules
1st Shift Schedule
- Monday: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (10-hour shift)
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (8-hour shift)
- Wednesday through Friday: 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM (6-hour shift)
Additional Information
- Employees may work a full 40-hour schedule when business volume increases.
- During peak season, employees may be scheduled six days per week from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Weekend work is mandatory during peak season.
