General Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming shipments
- Verify contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment
- Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in warehouse
- Prepare products for shipping, including labeling and packaging
- Operate forklift or other heavy equipment to move and store materials
- Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock
- Keep warehouse clean and organized
- Utilize RF scanner to track inventory and locate items within the warehouse
General Requirements:
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations preferred
- Ability to operate a forklift or other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Proficient in using an RF scanner for inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
