The Thomas Hill Energy Center is accepting applications for our General Utility candidate pool. This posting is intended to build a pool of qualified candidates for future interview and hiring consideration as openings become available.

As a General Utility, you will support safe, efficient plant operations through general labor, cleaning, grounds maintenance, and team support at Thomas Hill Energy Center.

What You’ll Do

• Perform plant, coal yard, and grounds cleaning and general labor.
• Mow and maintain grounds using tractors and equipment.
• Help with painting, hauling trash, and plant upkeep.
• Operate a vacuum truck to remove fly ash.
• Support multiple departments and write work requests as needed.

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one-year industrial mechanical or electrical background
• Obtain passing result from the applicable pre-employment test(s).
• Basic computer skills required.
• Experience in plant operations, industrial work, or power generation, is preferred.
