• Call Coverage: Covers in hospital consults, ED trauma and general surgery call & transfer call center patients
• Phone Consults: 5-8 consults per 24-hr call
• Required Procedures/Skills:
- General Surgical Cases: ADULT & TRAUMA
- Central Line & Chest Tube Insertion
- Abdominal, Vascular Access Devices
- Cholecystectomy
• Lab/Radiology/Procedure Room: Available onsite
• EMR: Cerner
• Trauma Level: III
• Other Info: Current 1 app floor rounder; All DI capabilities excluding barium enema or esophageal/swallow studies.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
• Active MI License
• BC in General Surgery
• DEA
• Drive-in candidates only
• NPDB Self-query (should be pulled within 30 days)
