Job Description


We are seeking a Board-Certified General Surgeon to join a growing Elective General Surgery program in Arkansas. This permanent opportunity offers a non-trauma, elective-focused practice, providing a predictable schedule and excellent work–life balance. The ideal candidate is experienced in a wide range of general surgery procedures and is interested in contributing to program growth and long-term success.

Position Details

  • Practice Type:

    Elective General Surgery

  • Trauma:

    None

  • Schedule:

    Flexible scheduling with approximately 183 shifts per year

  • Focus on planned surgical cases and outpatient/inpatient elective procedures


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a full range of elective general surgery procedures

  • Conduct endoscopic procedures, including EGD and colonoscopy

  • Participate in the growth and development of the elective surgery program

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of providers and support staff

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered surgical care

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation


Requirements

  • Board Certified in General Surgery

  • Active Arkansas medical license (or ability to obtain)

  • Experience with endoscopy and EGD procedures required

  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
