Carrier Corporation has an exciting opportunity available for a General Supervisor at its Charlotte, NC location. This is a 2nd shift position, with core hours being 4:30p-1:00a. This position is responsible for leading the 2nd shift operation team in the safe and effective execution of production schedules and facility management. Directs scheduling and sequencing of work. Coordinates direct and indirect services as required to obtain measurable results in safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establishes objectives and guidelines for managing and monitoring the performance and productivity of multiple departments
• Direct scheduling and sequencing of work
• Coordinate direct and indirect services as required to obtain measurable results in safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency
• Will be the factory site lead during off shift hours
• Will be responsible for operations performance and facility readiness
• Manage cross functional production teams across the water cooled and air cooled value stream to achieve production targets
• Manage multiple department's performance to maximize productivity and first pass yield
• Direct cost reduction and process improvement to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness
• Manage a team of cell leaders to ensure all quality related items are complete and documented
• Liaison with internal customers to understand customer needs and satisfactory standards of services.
• Lead materials and logistics problem resolution to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations
• Lead emergency response protocols and responsible for the safe conduct of operations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years in manufacturing
• 5+ years’ experience in leadership
