You will:

  • Provide friendly, helpful customer service in both the general store and gas bar
  • Pump fuel and assist customers at the pumps as needed
  • Operate the point of sale (POS) system for purchases and fuel transactions
  • Receive, stock, and organize merchandise throughout the store
  • Replenish shelves, coolers, and displays to keep the store looking its best
  • Keep the store, gas bar, and surrounding outdoor areas clean, safe, and well maintained
  • Support general housekeeping duties, including tidying, garbage removal, and cleaning
  • Work as part of a small team, jumping in where needed and taking on a variety of tasks throughout your shift

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys staying busy, working with people, and being part of a close-knit team in a community setting. It is also ideal for students or anyone looking for summer or short-term work.

Why it matters:
Our team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. Through the work that we do, we help to build, fuel, feed and grow Western Canadian communities together.

Who you are:
You are looking for a role in Retail Store Operations and:

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Are reliable, hardworking, and take pride in doing things well
  • Enjoy working with people and providing great customer service
  • Like variety in your day and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves
  • Are comfortable working both indoors and outdoors (including at the fuel pumps)
  • Are open to learning new skills and helping wherever needed

Our Team Members receive competitive salaries. We encourage our Team Members to take advantage of learning opportunities, to grow and develop, and to foster a culture of teamwork and innovation.

At Co-op, we embrace diversity and inclusion, and we’re working to create a workplace that is as diverse as the communities we serve. We support and provide an environment that allows all to bring their whole selves to work.
