General Site Tech / CDL Driver
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance
Ensure all machinery and production equipment are operational at all times.
Perform daily Preventative Maintenance (PM's) and repairs on all equipment while maintaining complete logs.
Troubleshoot issues with all plant machinery including, conveyors, elevators, valves, and all production equipment.
Maintain accurate reports detailing issues, causes, and solutions.
Keep work area organized and clean
Maintain inventory records and order stock parts
Driver
Conducts a pre-trip inspection, makes minor adjustments and submits a report indicating truck condition.
Loads truck with a forklift or skid-steer and drives the truck to its assigned destination.
Daily routes, some overnight stays and other tasks as assigned.
Production
Work directly with production and quality foreman.
Assists with monitoring production process equipment to maintain optimal specifications.
Assists with making adjustments to the system as directed.
Assists with maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Must have the ability to operate a forklift and a skid-steer.
Must possess a Driver’s License with a CDL, and a valid medical card.
Standard First Aid card and adult CPR card is preferred.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to work independently and as a team player.
Ability to add, subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
Ability to perform operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
This position requires frequent lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds.
