About the Role: We're looking for an enthusiastic Site Operative (Laborer) to support our Site Management division. As a Site Operative, you'll assist our site managers with various tasks, moving from one site to another as needed. No specific trade skills are required—just a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn!
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation/setup and breakdown of construction sites
• Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
• Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Operate basic hand tools and machinery as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site to ensure safety standards are met.
• Follow safety protocols and work under the supervision of site managers.
• Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks as required.
Key Requirements
• Previous experience in construction or manual labor is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the industry.
• Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions.
• Basic understanding of construction site safety practices is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
• Current white card, or have the ability to acquire.
