The City of Surprise Human Service & Community Vitality Department is looking for our next team member! The General Services Worker will support the department with daily operations of the Surprise Community & Resource Center programming, community outreach events, and community engagement. The ideal candidate requires an outgoing personality and is someone who enjoys working in group settings and shifting roles.
This position schedule will vary and may be scheduled for up to 18 hours a week with shifts expected late afternoons, nights and weekends depending on program needs.

Provides a diverse range of routine general services support to a specified department/unit. May perform clerical services, general labor work and services and/or customer services, and/or other related duties in accordance with day-to-day requirements of the specified department.
Any combination of education and experience which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the work.
Must have at the time of hire and be able to maintain a valid Arizona driver license.
