POSITION SUMMARY: The General Services Supervisor directs the maintenance and custodial program for Central Office in Santa Fe and the PMS Engagement Center in Albuquerque. Maintains all facilities, grounds and equipment in a sanitary, functional, attractive and orderly condition. Manages and oversees small renovations, repairs and maintenance projects throughout New Mexico as assigned by the General Services Department Manager. This position also supervises assigned maintenance and custodial staff and assists with the oversight of third-party contractors.
LIMITATIONS OF AUTHORITY: The General Services Supervisor confers with the Administrator or General Services Department Manager before initiating expenditures of more than $500 cost. In the absence of the Administrator / Region Director or General Services Department Manager, the General Services Supervisor may initiate emergency repairs not to exceed $1,000.
Broad knowledge of construction, repair, maintenance and service procedures, practices, problems and compliance, including procurement, cost-benefit analysis and cost control, also landscaping and mechanical systems preferred.
The following licenses/certifications are preferred: mechanical (HVAC), plumbing, or electrical.
NOTE: Because this position is assigned a PMS vehicle, not required to provide current personal owner liability automobile insurance.

PMS is accredited by the Joint Commission, signifying achievement of the highest standard of performance in the industry. Numerous PMS community health centers have achieved recognition from the Joint Commission as Patient-Centered Medical Homes (PCMH). The PCMH is a way of organizing primary care that emphasizes care coordination and communication to transform primary care for maximized health outcomes.
