The Opportunity

Lead the technical management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of general facility equipment, systems, and infrastructure, including kitchen and kitchenette equipment, security systems, elevators, architectural finishes, floors, walls, ceilings, doors, restrooms, drainage systems, and other support assets. Ensure their availability, reliability, and safe operation through the execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. Verify compliance with regulatory requirements, quality, safety, environmental standards, and corporate policies, contributing to the plant’s operational continuity, internal customer satisfaction, and the preservation of facility assets.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of a maintenance plan for facility areas, systems, and infrastructure equipment, including:
  • Roofs, elevators, security systems, suspended ceilings, walls, floors, doors, gates, fences, windows, building facades, restrooms, drainage systems, outdoor areas, waste management areas, furniture, kitchen equipment, and other facility-related assets.
  • Support the development and implementation of General Facilities maintenance documentation (equipment and area monitoring routines, preventive maintenance plans, preventive maintenance procedures, work instructions, and forms) to ensure ongoing compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and applicable good practices, while mitigating operational, regulatory, and safety risks.
  • Provide technical leadership to maintenance service providers and contractors responsible for General Facilities equipment and systems. Supervise and evaluate their performance, ensuring work is executed safely, on time, and in compliance with technical specifications, service level agreements (SLAs), and established budgets.
  • Plan and supervise maintenance activities for outdoor areas, including landscaping, waste management and waste area organization, roadway and traffic signage painting, and other exterior facility maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Mechanical Engineering. Industrial Maintenance Engineering or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience: 5 years of professional experience in the same rol.
  • Preferred experience in maintenance of Facilities Soft Services systems and services, including electrical systems, finishes, exhaust systems, electrical panels, lighting systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, elevators, material handling equipment, security systems, etc.
  • Experience performing electrical installations, voice and data installations, pneumatic installations, finishing works (drywall and painting), plumbing work, and cutting and welding tasks.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and CMMS (preferable).
