General Service Technician | $22-$27/hr Hybrid

Location: Houston, Texas
Schedule: 6-day work week, including Saturdays
Pay Rate: $22-$27 per hour

Introduction

We are seeking a General Service Technician in Houston, Texas, for a hands-on automotive maintenance role. This position offers $22-$27 per hour hybrid pay plan. The initial schedule is six days per week, including Saturdays, with potential flexibility as staffing allows. The work focuses on preventive maintenance, fluid services, brakes, tires, alignments, and Texas state inspections.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine automotive maintenance, including oil changes and related preventive maintenance services.
• Complete brake fluid flushes, transmission fluid flushes, and coolant flushes.
• Perform brake service and maintenance tasks.
• Balance tires and complete related tire service.
• Perform wheel alignments.
• Conduct Texas state vehicle inspections as authorized by the required state inspection license.
• Complete assigned maintenance services accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Proficiency performing brake fluid flushes, transmission fluid flushes, and coolant flushes.
• Experience performing oil changes and general automotive maintenance.
• Ability to perform brake service, tire balancing, and wheel alignments.
• Texas state inspection license required; candidates who do not currently hold the license must be willing to obtain it.
• Ability to perform Texas state vehicle inspections once properly licensed.
• Ability to work the required six-day schedule, including Saturdays.

Compensation & Benefits

• $22-$27 per hour.
