• You're a proven General Sales Manager with 3+ years of GSM experience -- you've run a variable ops desk, developed a sales team, and delivered consistent volume, gross, and CSI at a franchised dealership
• You lead with process and coaching -- your consultants close more deals and take better care of guests because of how you develop them, not despite how you manage them

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Roles across our Bay Area stores vary by brand and market, but General Sales Managers at Swickard typically:

• Lead and develop the sales team daily -- coaching consultants, running structured desking sessions, and driving consistent production across new and certified pre-owned
• Desk deals with precision, urgency, and integrity -- structuring transactions that work for the guest and the store
• Manage floor coverage and the guest experience from first contact through delivery
• Monitor and hold the team accountable to key performance metrics -- units, gross per vehicle, closing ratio, lead response time, and CRM compliance
• Partner with finance to ensure clean deal handoffs and a seamless guest experience through the full purchase process
• Support inventory management in coordination with the GM -- monitoring turn, aging, and lot positioning
• Assist in recruiting and onboarding sales consultants
• Resolve guest escalations with composure and a solution-first approach

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of General Sales Manager or senior desk manager experience at a franchised dealership -- required
• Luxury or import brand GSM experience strongly preferred -- Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover, Audi, Lexus, BMW, or similar platform experience is a meaningful advantage across our Bay Area store network
• Demonstrated performance across volume, gross, and CSI at a high standard
• Strong CRM discipline and the ability to build a culture of follow-up and process accountability on the floor
• Confident at the desk -- able to structure deals quickly, accurately, and with the guest relationship intact
• Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK experience preferred
• Professional, polished communicator who earns the trust of the team and the respect of a sophisticated Bay Area buyer
