Lake Country, British Columbia


Production Employees
are the backbone of our mills. They make sure we produce products safely and efficiently, creating the materials that build homes and dreams. No experience? We can start you in an entry level role where we provide all the training you need to succeed!

We’re looking for a General Production Employee to join our remanufacturing facility located in Lake Country, British Columbia Our Lake Country Division remanufactures different types of wood packaging including bins, crates, and pallets as well as specialty trimming and sizing of plywood and solid wood.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated commitment to working safely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding industrial environment.
  • Ability to work 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
  • Previous experience working in an industrial environment is an asset.
  • Previous experience in a forest products environment considered an asset.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift or loader is an asset.

In this role you will:

  • You will work independently as part of a high-performance team dedicated safely and efficiently producing lumber products.
  • Work on general housekeeping, sweeping, keeping equipment clean etc.
  • You will perform a variety of labour duties to increase productivity and reduce safety risks.
  • You will identify, analyze and troubleshoot any problems that might arise in your area, and communicate with your Team Lead and Maintenance teams to get things back on track.
  • Work long durations of working while standing.
  • Have repetitive twisting and bending.
  • Be exposed to hot and cold temperatures (mostly indoor work but exposed to external temperatures).
