
This position assists EVS team in maintaining a high quality standard of housekeeping service by performing daily cleaning/restocking patient rooms, nursing stations, restrooms, offices and other assigned areas in accordance with established procedures of the department and Helen Keller Hospital. Aides are expected to display a courteous, friendly and professional attitude toward our customers at all times.
Insures effective department operations by maintaining good attendance. Start your day correctly in accordance with department policy and procedure. Performs adequate share of workload as determined by EVS leadership. Meets the organization housekeeping needs as indicated by the average monthly overall room score target. End your day correctly in accordance with department policy and procedure.
Education/Licensure: HS/GED preferred. Experience: Previous experience in health care or public lodging facility experience preferred Additional Skills/Abilities:Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form. Must be willing to work in a team structured environment. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions. Must be able to work/manage a fast paced, stressful work environment. Must be able to attend work regularly and promptly.
