JELD-WEN is currently seeking a General Production to join our growing team.

Position: General Production / Operator

Reports to: Department Manager

Location: Woodbridge

Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm

Afternoon Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:30pm to 1:00am; Friday 3:30pm to 12:00am

Pay Range- $19.99 - $21.51

Requirements:

• Complying with JELD-WEN EH&S requirements, legal requirements including policies, standards, rules, and programs
• Strong attention to detail
• Very high standards for quality
• Capable to follow detailed instructions
• Performing other duties as required
• Team player, flexible
• Fast paced working environment
• Excellent Punctuality and Excellent Attendance are required
• Possibility for overtime, including Saturdays
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (Proof req’d)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assembly work/general labour
• Cross training and cross functional job sharing depending on business needs
• Physically fit, including but not limited to standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing stairs, etc.

Glass Department:

• Duties listed above plus items listed
• Film lamination
• Glass pickup on all semi-automatic assembly lines, loading and unloading
• Gas filling and sealant patching
• Glass picker
• Wrapping/strapping

Vinyl Department:

• Duties listed above plus items listed
• BM/JT/Wrapping operators

Door Department:

• Duties listed above plus items listed
• Assistance in all areas on the line
