Job Description

Working in our manufacturing plant, our Production Associates are vital to the success of our business. Your role will be to ensure our products maintain the highest level of quality our customers expect. At Associated Materials, we believe excellent results begin with you!

  • Operate equipment and tools to cut, process, and assemble window components
  • Use material handling equipment
  • Pack and label finished goods
  • Inspect windows and equipment and communicate any issues
  • Keep a clean, well-maintained workspace and complete housekeeping in your area
  • Maintain all safety standards
  • Other duties as assigned, including housekeeping and cross-training to become proficient across multiple positions and production lines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in an assembly-line or manufacturing environment preferred but not required
  • Perform tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read and comprehend English language
  • Ability to use hand tools such as snips or chisel
  • Must be able to use, understand, and thoroughly read a tape measure
  • Be dependable and on-time with attendance
  • Be flexible and willing to learn, including cross-training and developing in other areas in the plant
  • Work well with others on the team

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical demands may include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided and is required to be worn daily.
