Compensation Overview:

  • The starting pay for this role is $20.72/hrto $26.02/hr.

  • Shift Premium of $.75/hron 2nd shift & $1.00/hron 3rd shift.

  • Hourly Bonus Program

Work Schedule:

Flexible scheduling, 8-hour workday, 5-6 days a week,withpossible overtime

  • 2ndShift (3pm-11pm), 3 rdShift (11pm-7am)

Employees must have weekend availability.

Employees mayworkweekends and holidays.

The Champaign, IL plant is the flagship plant in the Kraft Heinz organization and the largest volume producing plant in North America.

  • Established in 1963

  • Home to close to 1,000 employees, 3 8-hour shifts, 3 core departments

  • Products made include Kraft macaroni and cheese, Miracle Whip, Kraft salad dressings, Heinz Ketchup, PrimalKitchenand A-1 steak sauce.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Load raw materials and packaging supplies into machines or workstations; verify correct materials are being used

  • Monitor product flow and quality during production;identifyand report defects, contamination risks, or equipment issues

  • Package finished goods accurately per specifications (case counts, labels, codes, allergens, date/lot coding).

  • Stack, palletize, and wrap product; move materials/finished goods using carts, pallet jacks, or forklift

  • Operate production machinery and equipment as trained, including starting/stopping lines,monitoringperformance, and making minor adjustments (speed, alignment, settings).

  • Sanitation, asrequired, in processing and packaging areas.

  • Documentation of pertinent information whererequired

  • Follow all safety rules, food safety requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)at all times

  • Maintain PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) standards (hair/beard nets, steel toe shoes, bump cap, ear and eye protection, and removal of all piercings, jewelry, and false nails) per policy.

  • Report safety hazards, near misses, injuries, or food safety concernsimmediately

  • Comply withall company policies and general safety rules while performing duties

  • Participate andcollaboratein meetings.

  • Filling in for other positionsand training other employeesas assigned.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Prefer experience in production/ manufacturing- but will train the right candidates.

  • Able tooperatea fork truck – Kraft Heinz will train.

  • Able tooperatea computer.

  • Able tolift upto 50lbs.

  • Able to stand for extended periods of time.

  • Able to safely work at heights.

  • Safe work habits.

  • Maintain an excellent attendance record / adherence to attendance policy.

  • Attention to detail to avoid and/oridentifyerrors.

  • Able to perform tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision.

  • Able to understand & follow instructions, excellent oral & written communicationskills.

  • HighSchoolDiploma preferred.
