We are currently seeking a General Operator - Vinyl Floor Fitter to join our production team in Letterkenny This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on mechanical or assembly experience who enjoys practical work in a structured manufacturing environment.

This role focuses on the installation of vinyl flooring within modular buildings, while also supporting general manufacturing operations as required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Installing vinyl flooring within modular buildings.
  • Using engineering tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively.
  • Carrying out self-checks and completing required manufacturing documentation.
  • Identifying and reporting defective or substandard components.
  • Completing MTOs and supporting material ordering for allocated tasks.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
  • Adhering to all Quality, Health & Safety, and Company procedures.
  • Supporting team members and working collaboratively to meet production deadlines.
  • Working overtime or attending site work as required.

Essential Skills, Qualifications/Experience:

  • Experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and work to operating procedures
  • Good attention to detail with a strong quality focus
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • A reliable, safety-conscious approach to work

Desirable Skills, Qualifications/Experience:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude or experience with electromechanical systems.
  • Previous shift work experience.
