Real people recruitment are seeking a dedicated and motivated General Operatives to join our client , a well-established logistics company based in North Dublin. As a General Operative, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operations of the company's warehouse and distribution center. Your primary responsibilities will include handling, moving, and organizing goods, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Job title - General operative

Pay per hour - €13.50 Weekly pay.

Hours - 8 hour shifts between 06:00 - 18:00, Monday to Friday. (Eg. 08:00 - 16:00 or 09:00 - 17:00)

Location - North Dublin, Busses available to company from Balbriggan and Swords

Contract - Temporary, Employed through recruitment agency

Responsibilities:

- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack products according to customer orders, ensuring items are properly labeled and packaged for distribution.

- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, verifying quantities and inspecting for damages.

- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, performing regular stock checks, and reporting discrepancies.

- Material Handling: Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed to move goods within the warehouse while adhering to safety protocols.

- Quality Control: Inspect products for quality and report any defects or irregularities to supervisors.

- Organizational Support: Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse by arranging stock, maintaining aisle clearances, and adhering to housekeeping standards.

- Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following best practices for warehouse operations.

- Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure efficient workflow, effective communication, and successful task completion.

- Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist in various tasks as required, including assisting with special projects, participating in team meetings, and contributing to process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a General Operative or in a similar role within the logistics or warehouse sector is advantageous but not essential.

- Manual handling certificate is required for this role.

- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling products and orders.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.

- Reliable transportation to the North Dublin location.
