Siloam Hospitals Lippo Cikarang looking for General Nurse placement for "Inpantient Department"

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care based on patients' physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
  • Perform patient assessments, monitor clinical conditions, and identify changes requiring medical intervention.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
  • Administer medications and intravenous therapy accurately and safely according to physician orders and hospital policies.
  • Perform nursing procedures in accordance with clinical guidelines and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist physicians during examinations, treatments, and medical procedures.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies.

Patient Safety & Quality

  • Adhere to patient safety goals, infection prevention and control protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Accurately identify patients using approved identification methods.
  • Report clinical incidents, near misses, and adverse events through the hospital reporting system.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, nursing ethics, and professional practice guidelines.
  • Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.

Documentation

  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely nursing documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or designated documentation system.
  • Record nursing assessments, interventions, patient responses, medication administration, and discharge planning.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information.

Patient & Family Education

  • Provide education regarding disease management, treatment plans, medications, rehabilitation, and discharge instructions.
  • Encourage patient and family participation in care planning and decision-making.
  • Promote healthy lifestyle practices and preventive healthcare.

Collaboration

  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, dietitians, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and patient case discussions.
  • Ensure effective handover communication during shift changes using standardized communication methods (e.g., SBAR).

Operational Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain medical equipment and nursing supplies.
  • Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Support admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
  • Participate in disaster preparedness, emergency response, and hospital drills.
  • Perform other nursing duties as assigned by the Head Nurse.

Compliance Responsibilities

  • Comply with hospital policies, nursing standards, ethical codes, and applicable healthcare regulations.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
  • Participate in mandatory training, competency assessments, and continuing professional development.
  • Support hospital accreditation standards (e.g., JCI or applicable accreditation standards).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Compliance with nursing documentation standards.
  • Medication administration accuracy.
  • Patient safety and infection prevention compliance.
  • Patient satisfaction scores.

Qualifications

ducation

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (S.Kep.).
  • Professional Nurse (Ners) qualification is mandatory.

Professional License

  • Valid Indonesian Nursing Registration Certificate (Surat Tanda Registrasi/STR) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Valid Practice License (Surat Izin Praktik Perawat/SIPP), if required by applicable regulations.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 year of clinical experience in an inpatient ward is Mandatory

Certifications

  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is an advantage.
  • Additional certifications related to patient safety, infection prevention and control, or specialty nursing are preferred.

Knowledge

  • Sound knowledge of nursing processes and evidence-based nursing practice.
  • Understanding of patient safety goals and quality standards.
  • Knowledge of infection prevention and control (IPC) practices.
  • Familiarity with medication administration and patient monitoring.
  • Understanding of hospital accreditation standards (e.g., JCI or equivalent).
  • Basic knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
