This is a .2 FTE non-continuing leave replacement position for a General Music Teacher at Chase Lake Elementary that begins upon hire through the end of the current 2026-27 school year ONLY.
The Edmonds School District is seeking an enthusiastic and culturally responsive General Music Specialist to serve Chase Lake Elementary - a vibrant, diverse school and community. This position runs the full 2026-2027 school year, scheduled one full day per week (Mondays). The successful candidate will deliver the Edmonds School District's comprehensive General Music curriculum, a foundational program designed to build students' music literacy, creative expression, and cultural appreciation across grade levels. We are looking for a passionate educator who celebrates diversity and creates an inclusive, joyful musical environment where every student feels seen, valued, and inspired.
Note: An additional .1 FTE Strings position may also be available at Chase Lake Elementary.
Preference will be given to candidates that currently have an ELL, ESOL, or Bilingual endorsement. SIOP training and GLAD training offered by the Multilingual Education Department will be required for all new employees unless they can show evidence of having completed SIOP and GLAD training previously. Training will need to be completed within the first two years of employment.

2026-27 Salary Schedule Range: $85,456 through $152,066. Placement on this salary schedule is determined by FTE and official documentation verifying Educational Level and Certificated Work Experience and will be prorated for less than a full year and/or FTE.
