General Purpose of Job:
Under the direction and supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, t he General Mechanic I is responsible for performing unscheduled and scheduled work orders on Hospital’s equipment and utility systems. Possesses general knowledge of all building trades and maintenance procedures related to the operation of the hospital. Ensures efficient operation, inspection and maintenance of the hospital’s essential utility systems and equipment to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff and guests.
