Key job responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support marketing initiatives, demonstrating project management skills in a competitive and dynamic business climate.

Support the creation of effective content and marketing assets to engage customers and prospects.

A day in the life

Every day is different as a General Marketing Manager Intern. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams on real marketing initiatives that help grow Amazon's brand and customer engagement. You might spend your morning adapting a global brand campaign for the local market and creating compelling content, then spend your afternoon analysing campaign performance data to recommend optimisations for an ongoing growth initiative. You will partner with experienced marketers, support the execution of network improvements, and bring fresh ideas to the table.

You'll contribute to brand strategy, help run marketing campaigns, and propose innovative solutions that benefit the wider team — building your skills in brand management, content creation, and strategic marketing in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Internship Start Dates across the year:

We are hiring interns to start anytime from January through September 2027. Each month, we'll hold 1-2 onboarding days for new hires.

Basic Qualifications

  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English at C1 level or above
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Communications, or a related fields
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
  • Work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to 6 month internship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify process improvements and innovative solutions.
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels (such as email, digital display, SEO, PPC.) and tools (including email, web analytics, CRM, and marketing automation platforms)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, proactivity, and willingness to take on challenges in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
