What Success Looks Like:

Your Impact
• Primary support for all group sales outreach, negotiations, planning and service
• Direct liaison to all community organizations, city officials, industry associations and public relations entities
• Create and monitor annual operating goals, addressing all the drivers (Financial, Guests, Infrastructure, and Learning and Growth)
• Work with department leaders to meet or exceed established budgetary guidelines for the hotel. Establish sound pricing policies for guest services. Review and approve operating expenses. Develop and implement strategies to enhance profitability and revenue generation
• Direct the accurate and on-time preparation, production and distribution of all required reports
• Promote the property by building and maintaining an active and visible position in the local community and with industry partners
• Provide overall direction, coordination and leadership for all departments in the property
• Oversee and direct all Food & Beverage operations to ensure profitability, efficiency, and service excellence.
• Establish and maintain standards for food quality, presentation, service, sanitation, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop, implement, and enforce operating policies, procedures, and security controls.
• Participate in preparation of the annual operating budget and financial plans which support the overall objectives of the property
• Manage menu development, pricing, inventory, purchasing, and product offerings in partnership with the culinary team.
• Monitor industry trends, conduct market research, and support strategic growth initiatives.
• Actively participate in the organization and management of pre-opening Food & Beverage activities in coordination with ownership and management partners.
• Maintain effective communication across departments to ensure operational alignment and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee daily front and back of house operations to ensure exceptional guest, client, and team member service.
• Manage floor operations, staffing assignments, and service flow to maximize efficiency and guest experience.
• Conduct regular inspections of dining, kitchen, and storage areas to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.
• Ensure equipment, supplies, and inventory are properly maintained, secured, and used appropriately.
• Participate in Manager on Duty responsibilities and provide daily support for all hourly positions.
• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, coach, evaluate, discipline, and develop front and back of house team members.
• Provide timely formal assessment of individual team members in alignment with the performance review policy and procedures
• Conduct training on job standards and areas of responsibility as needed
• Promote service excellence, safety, sanitation, product knowledge, and cross-training across all Food & Beverage outlets.
• Prepare staffing schedules based on business demands while maintaining labor cost targets.
• Meet with distributors, vendors, and winemakers to enhance product knowledge and support beverage program development.
• Coordinate private events and special functions with the other departments.
• Support marketing initiatives designed to strengthen guest loyalty and attract new customers.
• Perform operational duties within supervised positions as needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.

What You Bring
• College or university degree with eight or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Computer literacy in Point of Sale systems and sales/catering applications.
• Strong working knowledge of fine dining and beverage service procedures.
• Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations.
• Familiarity with equipment used by the Food & Beverage team.
• Required food handling permits, licenses, or certifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and operations manuals; able to effectively present information to team members, managers, clients, guests, and the public.
• Strong math skills including the ability to compute discounts, ratios, and percentages, and interpret data such as bar graphs.
• Ability to create and maintain a team environment within and across departments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong general management skills: time management, information analysis, planning and organizing, decision-making, and problem-solving.
• Financial management expertise including budget management, expense control, and P&L analysis.
• Strong people management skills including coaching, motivating, delegating, scheduling, and relationship-building.
• Understanding and application of labor and industry-specific laws and regulations.
