Job Description

We are seeking a driven, hands-on General Manager to lead our Sbarro restaurant operations. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, builds strong teams, and knows how to deliver exceptional guest experiences while driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Restaurant Operations

• Lead all day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure speed, quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
• Maintain Sbarro brand standards for food preparation, presentation, and service
• Drive sales performance, profitability, and labor management
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and operational compliance standards are consistently met
• Manage inventory, ordering, waste control, and cost management

Team Leadership

• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team
• Coach and motivate employees to achieve operational and customer service goals
• Create a positive, energetic, and accountability-driven culture
• Build strong bench strength and develop future leaders
• Lead by example during peak-volume periods and daily operations

Guest Experience

• Deliver an outstanding guest experience every shift
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
• Create a welcoming environment that keeps guests returning

Administrative & Financial Management

• Manage scheduling, payroll, reporting, and daily administrative tasks
• Monitor labor, food costs, and overall restaurant performance metrics
• Execute company initiatives and operational programs effectively

Requirements

• Previous General Manager experience in quick-service, pizza, or fast-casual restaurant operations preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead in a high-volume, stand-alone environment
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Experience with staffing, coaching, and performance management
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
