Preconstruction is where customer trust is built, construction confidence is created, and margin and quality are locked in before site starts. Customers spend months inside preconstruction and how this phase runs defines both their experience of AVIA and the success of delivery that follows.

AVIA is entering its next phase of growth. We’ve moved beyond startup pace and are deliberately maturing our systems, leadership and ways of working to scale with control.

We’re looking for a General Manager to lead our front‑end delivery engine across estimating, procurement, design and drafting, interior design, and the presite customer experience.

This executive leadership role works in close partnership with AVIA’s Founder & Managing Director, translating vision and intent into clear standards, repeatable systems and reliable outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver more construction‑ready jobs every month, lifting speed, accuracy, quality and cost control
• Make the preconstruction operating system stick, one way of working with clear standards, quality gates and workflows
• Own the pre‑site customer experience across every touchpoint, measured, reviewed and continually improved
• Run the preconstruction line end‑to‑end, developing leaders and managing teams and partner panels to clear performance standards
• Build capacity ahead of demand, ready for growth and new product types before volume lands
• Connect sales to site through clean handovers and build‑ready starts that make construction easier

What you bring

• Senior leadership experience, ideally within a residential construction company
• A leadership style that builds capability, sets direction and removes friction
• Deep understanding of the preconstruction lifecycle
• Proven ability to align teams and partners to clear standards and measurable targets
• A track record of lifting throughput, quality and margin
• Strong commercial discipline with evidence of cost and risk control
