Galambila Aboriginal
Health Service is seeking an experienced and values driven operational leader
to join our Executive Leadership Team as General Manager, Operations.

This is a rare
opportunity to contribute to a growing Aboriginal Community Controlled Health
Organisation delivering culturally safe, integrated and community led health
services on Gumbaynggirr Country.

We are looking for a
highly capable operator who can confidently lead across complex clinical and
social health environments, while also supporting and developing a growing team
of emerging managers and leaders. This role requires someone who can balance
strategic thinking with strong day to day operational leadership, workforce
support and service oversight.

About the Role

Reporting directly to
the Chief Executive Officer, the General Manager, Operations provides executive
leadership across Galambila’s core operational service areas including clinical
health care services, social health programs, child and family health services
and quality/systems improvement.

You will work closely with a developing
leadership team to provide coaching, guidance and operational support across
the organisation. The successful candidate will be a strong and credible leader
who can navigate complexity, manage competing priorities and build effective
working relationships across all levels of the organisation.

About You

You are an experienced
health or community services leader with strong operational capability and the
clinical credibility to oversee a broad range of multidisciplinary services.

You are highly
organised, adaptable and solutions focused, with the ability to balance
strategic priorities alongside the realities of day-to-day operational
leadership.

You will bring:

·Significant
leadership experience within health, community or social health services

·Strong
understanding of clinical governance, service quality and risk management

·Proven
ability to lead and support managers and multidisciplinary teams

·Demonstrated experience
influencing positive workplace culture and driving operational or service
improvement initiatives

·Experience
navigating organisational change, workforce challenges and competing priorities

·Excellent
communication, coaching and relationship building skills

·A
collaborative and emotionally intelligent leadership style

·Strong
understanding of culturally safe and community centred service delivery

Experience working
within an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation or with
Aboriginal communities will be highly regarded.
