This is a Tier 1 project with extremely high ambition, and you’ll have full profit and loss ownership. You'll play a central role in assembling a bespoke internal team and cultivating a supportive, high-performance culture. This is a rare chance to build a high-impact title from the ground up, delivering world-class results and a standout addition to Rovio’s portfolio.

You will have impact and fun at work by:

  • Steer the multi-year game strategy as the central executive partner, fostering trust and ensuring seamless product alignment across internal teams.

  • Owning the full Profit & Loss for the game, managing large budgets, and designing a world-class commercial roadmap that helps us maximize revenue.

  • Assembling and nurturing the core Barcelona development team, cultivating a high-performance culture

  • Ensuring state-of-the-art Live Operations when we get there, including fun events, promotions, and content updates that drive daily player engagement and set a quality benchmark for the industry.

  • You have a holistic understanding of the current mobile games business—from product strategy and design to user acquisition and commercial scaling—and use it to guide the big-picture development strategy.

  • You possess absolute mastery of the Free-to-Play mobile landscape, preferably in football manager or sports games

  • You have a qualified, deep expertise in football and football management allowing you to genuinely connect with the domain.

  • You have a proven track record of leading diverse, global teams and excel at stakeholder management, building trust-based relationships and driving collaboration across organizations.

  • You demonstrate inspirational executive leadership with professional humility, encouraging ownership and maintaining project momentum with exceptional communication.

It would be nice if you also have the following skills:

  • Deep executive experience with global contract negotiation

  • Enterprise-level product and market understanding that goes far beyond standard production.

You'll work in a hybrid setup with two days at the office per week. Kindly send us your CV in English. We look forward to speaking to you!
