Location: Various | Full-time | Travel Required

Installing underground cables for power transmission, power distribution, renewable energy and communication networks is a necessary step in hardening the electrical grid, delivering reliable communication networks, and integrating renewable energy into our existing systems.

Position Summary

As a General Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and oversight of regional operations while fostering an environment for safe and profitable operations. This position is responsible for project success and profitability within the region. General Managers set the strategic goals in coordination with the President and work with Regional and Project Managers to execute on them. It is essential to manage relationships with clients and network within the industry. This role will support data center and mission critical projects while focusing on medium voltage (MV) duct banks, substation feeds, underground transmission, and campus distribution systems.

What It Takes

• 10+ years of related experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience working on medium voltage (MV) duct banks, substation feeds, underground transmission, or campus distribution systems for data center
• Experience with Project Management software (Primavera, HCSS, etc.)
• Ability to travel 50% to project sites across the US
• Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by Michels review team

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Advanced licensing/certifications
