About the role and you

SEN is looking for a General Manager - Melbourne Mavericks Netball.

The role will primarily lead the strategic and operational direction of the Melbourne Mavericks, ensuring the club is financially sustainable, culturally vibrant, performance driven, and connected deeply to its fans and partners across Melbourne.

This role will suit a dynamic leader who is passionate about the business of sport and the craft of high performance.

The main duties include:

  • Lead overall club performance, driving revenue growth across sponsorships, memberships, ticketing and events
  • Deliver the club’s strategic plan and strengthen brand positioning in the market
  • Build and manage key partnerships and integrated campaigns
  • Work with the Head Coach to foster a high-performance, accountable culture
  • Support recruitment, retention and long-term athlete development
  • Align performance outcomes with commercial and community objectives
  • Drive fan growth through engaging, data-led campaigns across membership, ticketing and merchandise
  • Build strong connections with community clubs, schools and grassroots pathways
  • Ensure governance, compliance and effective risk management
  • Provide clear reporting to executives, stakeholders and the board
  • Represent the club across league and partner forums
