SWOT Hospitality is seeking an experienced and highly motivated General Manager to lead the operations of a luxury suite property on the beautiful island of Ios, Greece.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury hospitality, exceptional leadership skills, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who can combine operational excellence with a refined understanding of luxury service and guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the property's daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of luxury hospitality and service.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the team, fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and excellence.
• Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction through personalized service and attention to detail.
• Manage reservations, front office operations, housekeeping, guest relations, and coordination with external partners.
• Monitor financial performance, budgets, operating costs, and revenue targets.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize occupancy, revenue, and overall profitability.
• Maintain high standards of property presentation, maintenance, and operational efficiency.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and hospitality standards.
• Contribute to the property's positioning, reputation, and continued development within the luxury hospitality market.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a General Manager or senior hospitality management role, preferably within luxury hotels, boutique properties, or high-end suites.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Solid understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, budgeting, and financial performance.
• A guest-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to luxury service standards.
• Ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced, seasonal hospitality environment.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Greek and additional languages will be considered an asset.
• Flexibility and willingness to relocate to Ios for the duration of the season, if required.
