General Manager – KidStrong Fuquay-Varina

We’re looking for an energetic, business-minded General Manager to lead our Fuquay-Varina center. This role is ideal for someone who loves developing a team, building relationships with families, growing a business, and creating an environment kids cannot wait to return to.

• A starting base salary of $50,000 or more, based on experience
• A performance bonus of up to $600 per month, subject to a $5,000 annual payout cap

Anticipated annual compensation: $50,000–$65,000, depending on experience, starting salary, and earned performance bonuses.

What You’ll Lead

As General Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the center’s team, member experience, growth, and daily operations. You will:

• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team
• Create a positive, energetic experience for kids, families, and employees
• Drive sales, membership growth, retention, and community engagement
• Manage center performance using clear operating and financial goals
• Build relationships with current and prospective families
• Maintain strong class quality, scheduling, staffing, and facility standards
• Lead from the front by coaching approximately 3–5 classes per week
• Partner with the regional leadership team to identify opportunities and solve problems
• Step in wherever needed with a hands-on, ownership mindset

• Have experience in youth programming, boutique fitness, education, athletics, hospitality, childcare, or a similar service-based business

Schedule

This is a full-time, on-site leadership position with weekday, evening, and weekend responsibilities.

Typical shifts are:

• Weekdays: 10:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
• Weekends: 8:45 a.m.–5:45 p.m.

The schedule includes designated days off, but weekend availability and flexibility are required to support the team and center.

Certifications

The following certifications are required and may be completed after hire:

• CPR
• First Aid
• EpiPen administration

Physical Requirements

This is an active leadership role. Candidates must be comfortable:

• Remaining active and engaged throughout the day
• Demonstrating movements and coaching children
• Lifting up to 75 pounds when needed
