
Our client is seeking a General Manager, Commercial & Offtake to lead the commercial strategy for a growing resource development organization with long-term ambitions in the mining and energy sector. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially astute executive who can shape market strategy, negotiate complex agreements, and help position the business for sustainable long-term growth.
As General Manager, Commercial & Offtake, you will be responsible for leading the organization’s commercial activities across product strategy, customer and partner engagement, offtake negotiations, market positioning, and revenue-related risk management. You will play a critical role in ensuring the business is commercially prepared across the life cycle of the asset — from project development and financing support through startup, operations, and future expansion.
This role requires a leader who can operate at both strategic and practical levels: someone who understands commodity markets, commercial structures, and stakeholder dynamics, while also building the internal capability, processes, and discipline required to support major long-term project success. You will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure commercial priorities are aligned with project development, operational readiness, and corporate growth objectives.
This is a career-oriented role with a long-term view and is based in Boulder, Colorado, with substantial travel requirements
