Job Description

Our client is a high-growth, inventory-driven consumer tech platform in the used-car space, headquartered in Dubai. With a rapidly scaling presence across the Gulf, the business operates an end-to-end used-car marketplace covering vehicle inspection, pricing, financing, warranty, and transactions across a large and growing fleet of inventory.

They are seeking a commercially-minded Head of Business Finance to join the team in Dubai. This is a front-row role sitting directly next to the CEO, owning the full financial narrative, and driving decisions that shape the business. It is not a reporting role. It is a builder's role.

Duties & Responsibilities

Business Finance & FP&A

• Own the P&L, revenue, margins, unit economics, and per-vehicle profitability across channels
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; present MIS and board-level financial decks
• Act as the finance thought partner for Sales, Operations, and leadership on every key decision
• Evaluate new initiatives, market expansion, and investment decisions with clear financial modelling
• Build and maintain KPI dashboards for real-time business performance visibility

Treasury & Working Capital

• Manage daily cash visibility and short-term liquidity planning
• Own bank relationships, working capital facilities, documentation, and rate negotiations
• Monitor inventory-locked capital, aging stock, and loan settlement cycles
• Build rolling cash flow forecasts tied to procurement, operations, and sales cycles

Controls & Governance

• Build SOPs and controls around payments, reconciliations, and financial processes
• Ensure month-end close, VAT compliance, and audit readiness
• Drive automation and process

Qualifications

• CA or MBA, rank holder preferred
• 4–8 years of experience in Business Finance, FP&A, or Treasury
• Startup or high-growth environment experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to build finance functions, not just maintain them
• Comfortable presenting to founders, boards, and investors
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
