General Manager – BrandsGalaxy

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on General Manager to lead and support the day-to-day operations, while driving the overall performance of BrandsGalaxy.

This role is responsible for ensuring seamless execution across commercial, marketing, operations, and technology. The successful candidate will work closely with a lean, cross-functional team and will be directly accountable for business results.

The role is well suited to someone with strong e-commerce experience who enjoys being close to the business, balancing planning with execution, and driving performance in a campaign-driven environment.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of the business.
  • Lead and coordinate the execution of sales campaigns, ensuring alignment across commercial, marketing, operations, and creative functions.
  • Ensure readiness across merchandising, pricing, inventory, marketing execution, and platform performance.
  • Monitor commercial KPIs (revenue, conversion, customer engagement) and translate insights into practical actions.
  • Coordinate and support functional leads, setting clear priorities and ensuring smooth collaboration.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for operational or platform-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Work closely with product, technology, or external partners to ensure platform stability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce and operations, in senior or leadership roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience in e-commerce or digital retail environments.
  • Solid understanding of campaign-based sales models, merchandising, and online performance drivers.
  • Comfortable operating close to day-to-day execution and decision-making.
  • Ability to manage priorities across multiple functions in a lean, high-accountability team environment.
  • Data-aware mindset, with the ability to track KPIs and use insights to guide decisions.
  • Clear communication style and pragmatic leadership approach.
