We are looking for a General Manager for our Nashville-based client Arboras - a high-growth two-sided marketplace connecting nursery suppliers to landscapers. The company also operates a local stockyard to manage select inventory directly and is building a repeatable model designed for expansion into additional regional markets.
Arboras seeks an entrepreneurial, well-rounded General Manager (GM) to professionalize operations, build internal systems, and help develop a scalable business model. Initially, the founder will continue to lead sales, key accounts, and grower relationships while the GM focuses on finance, CRM, reporting, systems, and day-to-day execution
Extensive horticultural knowledge is not required. The GM will enter a structured transitional period alongside the founder to learn the complete Arboras model — including sales, sourcing, pricing, plant material, procurement, fulfillment, customer relationships, and logistics. Responsibility and authority will expand as knowledge and competency develop.
Long term, this role is intended to grow beyond internal operations Once the GM understands the business and helps establish a repeatable operating and sales system, the opportunity includes taking greater ownership of sales leadership, team development, and ultimately helping launch and lead Arboras in new regional markets.
Candidates who don't reside in the Nashville area won't be taken into consideration.
Requirements
Competitive base salary (80,000-110,000 USD/year depending on experience and skills ) with performance-based bonuses tied to revenue growth and operational milestones.
To apply, submit a resume and a brief cover note outlining your interest in helping build, operate, and expand a growing marketplace business

Our story: 4 unlikely characters and a fun idea
🎮 Space Inch was started by an architect (the building kind), a criminal lawyer, a rock guitarist, and a non-profit exec. We weren’t gamers but we had an idea for a game and a desire to try something out of the ordinary.
🚀 We launched our first original game in 2013. Not long after we quit our day jobs. In the next 5 years, we produced 15 games, 40M installs, and one game was the most downloaded in the US for a month.
🤝 Now, we partner with a small number of corporate clients with whom we have deep, lasting relationships.
What makes us different?
🥇 Our engineers determine our expertise, stack, and what we learn next. They define what we mean by “high quality.”
💪 Each engineer helps us decide who we are and what our commitments will be.
🏆 We only accept projects when the code base is part of our expertise. We don’t take on work if we are not going to perform extremely well.
