SERVPRO Team Toft is looking for an experienced, driven, and people-focused General Manager to lead our organization's operations and support the continued growth and success of our company.

We are looking for more than someone who can manage numbers and oversee departments. We want a true servant leader who believes in developing people, supporting their teams, leading by example, and creating an environment where employees can succeed.

The ideal candidate brings extensive restoration industry experience, a strong background in large-loss projects, and a proven ability to lead multiple divisions while maintaining high standards for customer service, quality, and operational performance.

This individual must be comfortable leading large-loss and storm response operations, developing strong management teams, and stepping in wherever leadership is needed.

What You'll Do

Operational Leadership

  • Provide leadership and oversight to the Marketing, Production, Construction Services, and Office divisions.
  • Establish annual business plans and divisional goals that align with overall company objectives.
  • Work closely with division managers to maintain consistent operational standards, accountability, and performance.
  • Lead regular management meetings to review production, staffing, financial performance, customer concerns, and business goals.
  • Ensure jobs are completed according to SERVPRO processes, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Oversee operational readiness and direct company operations during major storm events and large-loss projects
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and overall company performance.

Large Loss & Restoration Management

  • Provide leadership and direction on complex, high-value restoration projects.
  • Direct company operations during major commercial losses, catastrophic events, and storm response situations.
  • Coordinate resources, staffing, equipment, and subcontractors to support large-loss and emergency response operations.
  • Ensure proper job documentation, estimating, job costing, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Work with project and division managers to address operational challenges and keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key commercial accounts, customers, and centers of influence.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience from initial response through project completion.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead with a servant-leadership mindset, putting people, teamwork, and accountability at the center of daily operations.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop division managers and future leaders.
  • Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and employee retention efforts.
  • Identify staffing needs and work with managers and HR to build strong, capable teams.
  • Promote a positive, accountable, and performance-driven company culture.
  • Lead by example and be willing to get involved when teams need support.
  • Foster an environment of open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Financial & Business Management

  • Partner with division managers to develop annual business plans, budgets, and performance goals.
  • Monitor operational costs, job profitability, revenue, and gross margins.
  • Review financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Work with the accounting team to review financial reporting and ensure appropriate financial information is provided to the company's CPA.
  • Ensure resources are allocated effectively to support company growth and operational needs.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Partner with HR to ensure employee documentation and HR processes are maintained.
  • Help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Oversee appropriate insurance coverage and operational risk management.
  • Support the development and enforcement of company policies, procedures, and safety expectations.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of restoration industry experience, with significant management or leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading restoration operations and managing multiple projects or teams.
  • Strong understanding of restoration processes, production management, job costing, and quality control.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Xactimate experience.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop management teams.
  • Experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational goals.
  • Strong written, verbal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and the ability to work with operational and financial reporting.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check, consistent with applicable law.

Highly Preferred Experience

  • Significant hands-on large-loss restoration management experience.
  • Experience managing complex commercial, multifamily, industrial, or high-value restoration projects.
  • Storm response and catastrophe (CAT) operations experience.
  • Experience coordinating multiple crews, subcontractors, equipment, and resources during large-scale losses.
  • Experience overseeing restoration operations across multiple divisions or locations.
  • SERVPRO industry experience and familiarity with SERVPRO systems, processes, and procedures.

The Leadership Style We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate is a servant leader who:

  • Puts people first while maintaining high expectations and accountability.
  • Leads by example rather than simply giving direction.
  • Develops managers instead of micromanaging them.
  • Communicates openly and addresses challenges directly.
  • Takes ownership and follows through on commitments.
  • Understands that operational success starts with a strong team.
  • Is willing to roll up their sleeves and help when the situation calls for it.
  • Balances employee development, customer satisfaction, and company profitability.
  • Builds trust, encourages teamwork, and creates an environment where people want to succeed.

We are looking for someone who wants to build a strong team, not just manage a business.

Why Join SERVPRO Team Toft?

Join a growing restoration organization where leadership, teamwork, and employee development matter.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the company's direction, develop strong leaders, strengthen operations, and help build a team prepared to handle everything from everyday restoration projects to major commercial losses and catastrophic events.
